The Marvin Ridge Mavericks Athletic Boosters Club (MRMABC) is seeking a highly organized & energetic individual to support the ever growing scheduling requirements associated with our Middle & High School sporting events. The primary task is the coordination and scheduling of practice and game requirements both on and off campus.
Responsibility would include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Maintain and foster strong relationships with the MS & HS Athletic Directors and Coaches.
Scheduling of fields & facilities to support the various sports at both the MS & HS level.
This includes both Practice and Game schedules.
Identify potential conflicts and work with the Staff to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Maintenance and upkeep of the “Master Calendar” to ensure an accurate and up-to-date schedule is available at all times.
Communicating the weekly schedule of events via email to the coaches and administration
Requires daily updates when the schedule is impacted by weather or other unforeseen events
Work with the various “off-site” training facilities to ensure any additional field space that may be required is properly secured in advance.
Utilize the Arbiter system to verify official assignments and electronically remit payment to officials for Middle School teams using the system for game scheduling.
We are seeking to fill this position starting on May 1, 2018 and the contract will be for a 1 year period that will be renewed annually. This position will report directly to the MRMABC Executive Board and will be required to work closely with the ADs, Coaches and School Administration. The position will pay $100 per month and will require support 12 months a year.

During the “Summer Dead Periods” no NCHSAA member school-sponsored activities may be organized or conducted by any NCSHAA coach or school staff member (whether full-time, part-time, or volunteer) that involve students at NCHSAA member schools.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FUNDS RECEIVED FROM THE COUNTY DO NOT COVER ALL THE COSTS NECESSARY TO HAVE A SUCCESSFUL ATHLETIC PROGRAM. YOUR MEMBERSHIP IN THE BOOSTER CLUB, EVEN AT THE $75 LEVEL, PROVIDES FUNDING THAT GOES DIRECTLY TO THE ATHLETIC PROGRAMS AT THE MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL. THIS MONEY, IN ADDITION TO THE GATE FEES, PAYS FOR EQUIPMENT, OFFICIALS, UNIFORMS, FIELD MAINTENANCE AND OTHER COSTS DIRECTLY RELATED TO ATHLETICS.

We are excited to announce the addition of MS Track for Spring 2018!! Your generosity, as well as fees from sports registrations, enable MRMABC to self-fund our Middle School Sports, as we provide all equipment, uniforms, insurance, officiating fees, and event fees for our teams.
